Miss Money-Penny (Penny) is a 55 lb. Husky Shepherd mix, about two years old. We have been fostering her for almost a year. She is a beautiful animal, and is energetic, smart, affectionate, loving and playful. She knows the following commands: Sit, Downs, Heel, and sit at stop. She allows her mouth, ears and paws to be handled. She is crate-trained. Penny is good indoors and out. She does not destroy anything in the house except socks that have been left out, which she buries. She loves to play and needs a relatively active lifestyle. She loves frolicking with other dogs. She rarely barks and is usually very obedient. Penny is spayed and has had all of her shots, including her adult rabies. She has a micro-chip which would need to be re-registered to the new owner. If you are interested in meeting Penny, please contact Tim at: 310-676-8477 Home, 310-529-0758 Cell, or e-mail at: timbiwa@aol.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Penny, a Bellflower Husky/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Bellflower, or seeking a Husky/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Bellflower.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellflower already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellflower breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Husky/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellflower paves the way for another one to be saved.
