Eddie*PENDING's Story...

Hi- I'm EDDIE! As of the 1st week of April I am approx. 4 weeks young. My siblings, my mother and I were all rescued from an abandoned home in a tough part of a downtown area- gosh we were so lucky to be saved!

We are all fun, lovable and very playful- as all kittens should be! We are healthy and happy. We will all be spayed/neutered and up to date on shots and ready for adoption in May (2011). We are housetrained/litterbox trained and each of us are searching for an indoor only home to call our own. If you would like to see additional photos now, please e-mail If you have any questions- please ask! Also, if you want to adopt me- and/or any of my siblings (there are 3 of us all together!)- please go ahead and fill out an adoption application and an advance deposit will be required. I sure can't wait to meet you!

*Please note- because we are so small, we need a home with no children under age 5- for our safety.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Eddie*PENDING, a Xenia Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Xenia, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Xenia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Xenia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Xenia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Xenia paves the way for another one to be saved.
