Patron's Story...
Patron is neutered, male border collie mix, approximately 18 months old. Patron is very kind in nature and is respectful of other dogs and cats! He is a quiet boy who likes to play with other dogs as well as people. Patron rides quietly in the car and walks very nicely on a leash. When he doesn't feel like working, you can often find him lounging in the dog pools!! Patron would fit in well at a home that has a large piece of land where he can help do outdoor chores or even be put to work! He is extremely agile and a quick learner! He likes to stay close to his person and will make a wonderful companion!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Patron, a Scottsdale Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Scottsdale, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in Scottsdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Scottsdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Scottsdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Scottsdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
