My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi my name is Phoenix and I was saved by Arizona Basset Hound Rescue on Oct 1st and now I am begging to be rescued by you. I love my foster mom, she is great, but I gotta get out of this crazy house. I am surrounded by 6 other four leggers that are all young and just refuse to give me the respect all 7 year olds deserve. Now don't get me wrong, I get along well with the youngin's and wouldn't mind living in a home with another, but I would love a quieter and calmer place to hang my leash.




Now that I have gotten that off my chest, let me tell you a little bit about myself. I am between 6 and 7 years old, I am completely doggie door trained. I love to go bye, bye and ride in the car. I have been neutered, microchipped and brought up to date on my shots. I get along well with everyone, but due to my age I would probably do best in a home with no children or maybe older children. Now that doesn't mean that I am ready for the old bassets home, I am pretty active and love to go on daily walks. I absolutely love to give kisses and be loved on. I will follow you room from room hoping and wishing for your attention and will be absolutely grateful when you give it to me. I love toys and take treats with the utmost gentleness.







So, if you scratch my back and get me out of this crazy house, I'll scratch yours and be your faithful, loving, happy go lucky companion.
