My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! I’m Moe. I’m 150 plus lb male Mastiff (English) and approx 2 to 3 years old My previous owner was unable to care for her female English Mastiff and myself, so we found ourselves in pretty poor condition and in a kill shelter. My sister found a great forever home and I came into HART rescue. I’ve been living with a wonderful foster family who loves me, but I’m not real crazy about their cat, so I won’t be staying with them forever.
I have lots of great qualities! I’m housebroken and crate trained. I like kids, but I don’t like a lot of commotion. Due to my size and my love of a mellow home, I won’t be placed in a home with small kids (I don’t want to accidentally knock them down!). I don’t seem to care for any other dogs now that I’m no longer with my mastiff sister. I can be ok when things are quiet, but if I’m in a home with another dog and they bark or get crazy, I will dominate and try and stop the situation. I need to go to a home with no other animals and a fenced yard.
You couldn’t ask for a more loveable guy than me if you are human. I’ve never met a stranger and am very friendly to all I meet. I’m great in the car too!
I'm ready for a family that can love me and commit to me for life. Is
that your family? I'm such a great dog and I've been knocked around
too much. Please come and meet me. Thanks!
All HART dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on all
vaccines, including bordatella and rabies. They are heartworm tested
and on preventative for heartworm, fleas, and ticks. If you are
interested in any of our pets, please complete an online dog adoption
application at www.rescueAhart.org . The application will put you in
touch with this wonderful dog's foster family so you can schedule a
meeting. Thanks! www.rescueAhart.org
