My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

b>5/1/11 - I'VE BEEN ADOPTED!

Adoption Fee: $450

Fostered in Tennessee

Age: 2 years

Weight: 6.3 lbs.

ADOPTION APPLICATION REQUIRED.
Visit www.YorkieHavenRescue.com to apply.

12/20/10 - Now coming down the runway sporting his summer cut, is Brady. Since his legs are a tad longer than his other friends, Brady is constantly mistaken for a CG runway model. A lot of Brady’s staff just up and quit on him, so he is in need of a butler, chauffeur, housekeeper, errand runner and hairdresser. The salary is very competitive and benefits are included.

Brady is a great little boy who loves to give kisses, loves to play with toys (and destuff them) and loves to play with other pups. He is very good in the house and does not chew on things and is pretty much potty trained. At his foster home, he will whine when he wants to go out. He loves to play outside, and his favorite toy is his ball. He will even fetch it, but hasn’t quite got the habit of release it back to you to throw. Lol. He is a fun, energetic young man who has adapted to his foster home quite quickly.

While in his previous home, Brady had Parotid Duct Transposition surgery on his right eye in February of 2010 because of congenital dry eye which is when the glands in the eye does not produce enough tears. Typical medicine was not working, so the surgery was necessary. There are salivary glands on each side of a dog’s head. In this procedure, the glands are redirected to the eye via a parotid duct. The saliva moves down the duct into the lower part of the eye. Since Brady’s saliva has more minerals in it, it caused his eye to become cloudy. He is not blind in that eye, but can only see what is possible “through the cloud”. He receives an ointment in his eye 3 times daily to dissolve the minerals and prevent more cloudiness

With all that explained, Brady is a very cute, spunky little man that doesn’t even realize, until he looks in the mirror) that one of his eyes has fog in it. He is used to receiving his medicine and is very good when receiving it.

If you would like to accept the position that Brady is offering, please apply online and maybe his next modeling photo shoot can be inside your home.
