Hi- I'm MONDO! Gosh, I'm a very, very lucky feline! Where do I begin? Well, I was tortured and burned- all over my face and all 4 paws by some mean people. Somehow I was then found and dumped off at a high-volume (high-kill) shelter and boy was I terrified. I was scared, lonley, hungry and in lots of pain. The shelter didn't have the time or resources to care for me- and I can't tell you how lucky I am that the good people at Advocates 4 Animals Rescue saved me just in time! Phew! Despite all of the very very bad I had gone through- now I had a ray of hope!
When I came to A4A Rescue- I recieved top-veterinary care and lots of love, care and attention from my volunteer foster home. I learned to trust again and I learned to love- lots! I love everyone who is kind to me! My physical wounds are all healed now and emotionally and socially I have made huge progress too. I'm just as lovable and snuggly as they come! I sleep with my foster mom every night, I follow her around like a puppy and I meow at her when she comes home from work- because I'm just so excited to see her and I can't wait to be petted! I do very well with other cats and I am fine with calm dogs. I prefer a home with no small children- as it does scare me to be chased or have my tail pulled. My dream home would be a calm home with someone to give me lots of love, attention, pets and someone who will let me snuggle with them- and also someone who will promise to love me forever!
I am approx. 12-14 months young (April 2011) and I am neutered, up to date on shots, tested negative for FIV and FeLv, treated for the prevention of ear mites, fleas and worms and housetrained/litterbox trained. I love the indoor life!
I promise if you love me- that I will love you forever and ever...I'm just as sweet as they come!
