Layla's Story...
Hello!

I am an adorable mixed breed little girl. I look like a Labrador Retriever/Terrier/Beagle Mix, or is there a little pug in me? No one really knows since I am a shelter puppy and my parents are unknown! However, I am small for my age, so I will probably be about 20 lbs full grown. My foster mom estimates our birthday is February 12, 2011. I am available for adoption now, but won't be delivered until after I am spayed in a few weeks.

My sister Kayla and I were left at a shelter, and we were taken into foster care when the shelter no longer had room for us. Since we were so little when we were in the shelter, we don't really remember it, and have no bad memories of our time there. We are pure, playful puppies, full of puppy energy.

I would love to find a forever home that has the time and energy to play with me, and to keep up with my antics. I would love another dog to play with, and/or parents who are at home most of the day. Mom foster mom says puppies are a lot of work, but I am worth it! I consider myself quite bright, and I am eager to please, but I am still just a baby so I don't have the whole house breaking thing down yet. I need a new family that is home during the day so I can be properly house broken, and don't develop separation anxiety.

If you are interested in adopting me, please e-mail my foster mom. She will send you an application.

My adoption fee is $400.00.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Layla, a Brookline Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Beagle puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Beagle for sale in Brookline, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Beagle puppy from a breeder in Brookline.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brookline already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brookline breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Beagle breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brookline paves the way for another one to be saved.
