Hugo's Story...
Hugo is the cutest little guy. He was the runt of the litter and bottle fed so he's super socialized! We aren't sure what his parents were so we're guessing on his mix. He has light colored beautiful eyes and he's 12 weeks old now. Hugo loves other dogs, cats and kids too. Hugo will probably be smaller medium size. He's had three sets of shots and is all ready for his forever home! Please, you MUST click the following link BEFORE emailing for further information. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hugo, a Harrisonburg Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Harrisonburg, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Harrisonburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Harrisonburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Harrisonburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Harrisonburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
