Meet one of the new kids, he's from Texas, and his name is PeeWee. And what a gentleman he is! He is 7 years old, black and white, and weighs 6.6 pounds. He is a applehead with stout body and stocky legs....
HE'S A ONE IN A MILLION KIND OF DOG!!! He was an owner surrender to us because the family had a child and he was stressed with the child in the home. This decision to give him up, was very hard on his people. But they felt they had to....
He is so sweet and such a doll baby, that we were very glad to get have him come to us.
I should add at this point that he has a issue that makes him a "special needs" guy. He has had Epilepsy issues, and will have seizures if not kept on his medications which need to be given on a strict schedule! He has not had a seizure since he has been at the rescue.
There are many of you reading this, that will not care that he has a need for medication for the rest of his life and would willingly see that he received it. And that is what we are looking for, a loving home with little stress, and NO Children.
In return he will give you so much love!!
He has lived his entire life with the one family and has always been taken care of. I have all of his vet records back to birth.......
He is well trained, and housebroke of course. He still squats to potty.
He gets along with all of the other dogs here in his foster home and likes his toys.
He is current on all of his vet requirements. He was neutered when he was very young. His teeth were cleaned and he was wormed and had vaccines in April of this year. And he will be microchipped this week.
His family has given us all of his belongings, such as beds, bowls, brushes, toys, blankets, etc.
And we have a supply of the meds you will be giving him to start you out right!
His adoption fee is $150.00
Please note that we do not adopt our dogs to families with children under the age of 10 years old. We do require a fenced yard.
