My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bob is is white an dred male, who is 1 month short of 3 years old. He had a very short race career. His small animal status is unknown.

I’m a handsome red and white critter called Bob. I’m rather small for a male but for some people, that’s a plus. My puppy days are over and I’m longing to live with a family that loves and appreciates greyhounds. I’m through chasing a furry thing-a-me-jig around in a circle –I just want to enjoy my retirement in a warm and loving home. A stroll around the neighborhood would be nice. A trip to a safe doggie park to romp with other canines would be great. Rides in the car would be awesome. I could stick the tip of my nose out the window and feel the breeze rushing past my nostrils and ruffling my fur. Best of all, I would be in a home that was permanent where I was loved and cherished. When you look into my expressive eyes, you will always know what I want or need because my eyes will talk to you.

FOSTER UPDATE:

At age three, Bob, a 68 lb. bundle of affection is one handsome charmer with a passion for squeaky toys. Bob is a social hound and not shy around anyone, including children. He gets along with other dogs but has yet to meet a Feline Queen! Bob will follow his foster mom from room to room and - if she has the nerve to leave him in the house while she is working in the yard - he will whine and bark a little because of the separation. However, he spends six to seven hours a day at home alone with another dog for companionship while his foster mom is at work with no problem. Bob is courageous and undaunted by the vacuum or other loud or unusual noises. He loves riding in the car, barks very little, and is an enthusiastic walker that does better with a harness than a leash because he’s a persistent stopper/sniffer! Bob needs to become a permanent family member – could that be with you?
