Serrin's Story...
Well, I don't think that they come much prettier than Serrin. She was a breeder dog who got out of that life early, thank goodness. We think that she is only about 2 years old. Serrin is a beautiful long coat, red sable chihuahua. She weighs about 6 1/2 pounds. When she first came to rescue, she was timid but you could tell that she was cautiously curious about humans who were nice to her. Now, she's all about being petted and loved on. She IS a chihuahua so tried to be sassy with the other dogs in her foster home but they soon put her in her place and there she stays.

Serrin is spayed, up to date on all shots, heartworm negative, on heartworm preventive and microchipped. Did I mention that she is stinkin' gorgeous? Her adoption fee is $200.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Serrin, a House Springs Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in House Springs, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in House Springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in House Springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a House Springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in House Springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
