Ginger Girl's Story...
I'm a playful, smart little girl and they call me Ginger. I'm a little bit shy until I get to know you, then I get all wiggly and when I see you. I'm always happy and ready to play. My foster mom says I have to tell you that I'm a good climber - I get out of my puppy pen whenever I want and I can climb metal fences, too. She says I'll need a yard that is well fenced 'cause I think it's a lot of fun to get out and explore! I really like other dogs. I've shown some interest in cats, but my foster mom is teaching me to respect them and not chase them. I probably still have more to learn about cats, though! If you'd like to hear more about me, please contact my foster mom, Cathy, at (619) 822-1577 or email her at catherine888@mac.com. THANK YOU!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ginger Girl, a Chula Vista Labrador Retriever/Shar Pei puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Shar Pei for sale in Chula Vista, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Shar Pei puppy from a breeder in Chula Vista.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chula Vista already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chula Vista breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Shar Pei breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Shar Pei rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chula Vista paves the way for another one to be saved.
