Louie's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Louie's Story...
Louie showed up on our rescues front step as a stray. With no collar and/or tags to help him find his way home and after finding out he unfortunately had no microchip, we kept searching for his owners.
We have had him for a month now. We have named him Louie, which he responds to as if it's been his name his entire life. He was housebroken by his previous owner, so he has never had an accident inside of his foster mom's house. He loves to play with the other dog's that are all pit bull's. They are all smaller than him in size and weight. Louie loves to go out on long walks or sit on the couch and cuddle with people.

***Because of his height he CAN jump a 4 foot tall indoor child/baby gate with absolutely no effort. That may make jumping a 5 foot outdoor fence just as easy for him******

Since Louie has been with us he has learn how to Sit and down by using positive reinforcement and clicker training. He is very smart and food motivated, training him properly should not be an issue.

We have fully vaccinated Louie and he has now been Microchipped! Louie was neutered on 4/18/2010!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Louie, a Indianapolis American Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Bulldog for sale in Indianapolis, or seeking a American Bulldog dog from a breeder in Indianapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Indianapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Indianapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Bulldog breeders who help with American Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Indianapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
