Fred's Story...
My name is Fred. I came from an over-crowded shelter in Missouri where I was about to be euthanized. Luckily I was brought to Chances instead! Now I am looking for my forever home. I do have an old eye injury so I am blind in one eye. It doesn't bother me or slow me down any though!

If you would like to meet me, please contact info@chancesanimalrescue.com

Chances is a newly formed no-kill 100% volunteer, 501(c)3 non-profit Animal Rescue. Chances is dedicated to helping unwanted and abandoned animals facing euthanasia by giving them a chance at a new life.

*BREED DISCLOSURE: Due to the fact that most of our adoptable pets are strays, we can not guarantee their breed. We list the pets breed as the one that best matches the physical appearance, temperament, and personality of the animal-in some cases it's purely a guess. The pet may also be listed as a mix when it’s actually a purebred.

All donations go directly to the pets: to buy the food, supplies, medications and veterinary treatments for the homeless animals in our care. If you would like to be a part of the difference, Adopt, Donate, find out how else You Can Help, or contact info@chancesanimalrescue.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fred, a Appleton Pit Bull Terrier/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Appleton, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Appleton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Appleton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Appleton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Appleton paves the way for another one to be saved.
