Hayden's Story...
*Cortesy Posting* Hayden is a Katrina victim that is still looking for a permanent home. He's currently in a shelter in Sussex County NJ along with several other Katrina victims and he desperately needs to get into a home as he has been at the kennel for more than (6) months.

Hayden is a sweet, beautiful dog & will make a wonderful companion. He is still a young energetic puppy who will need to be exercised regularly. He will respond well to strong leadership and training, but will probably need to be an only dog until he gets his bearings and feels secure in his surroundings. Please help Hayden get out of the kennel and into a loving home - he has been through so much and deserves to feel safe and secure again!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hayden, a Forest Hills Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Forest Hills, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Forest Hills.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Forest Hills already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Forest Hills breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Forest Hills paves the way for another one to be saved.
