Corky's Story...
Corky is a real sweet Louisiana boy, small in size but not in personality. Saved from drowning in the fllods of Katrina, he has such a good personality that he loves everyone and is a great kids dog. Corky wants to be a lap dog and get real close to you and lick, llick, lick. I can't say enough good things about this trooper who did not bark or complain in any way when we transported him from New Orleans in a hot truck (with ventilation and half a dozen fans running on AC inverters of course). You can visit Corky in New Jersey but we will deliver him to you if you first visit him in NJ and after the visit agree to try him out on a trial basis. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Corky, a Forest Hills Jack Russell Terrier/Staffordshire Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier/Staffordshire Bull Terrier for sale in Forest Hills, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier/Staffordshire Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Forest Hills.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Forest Hills already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Forest Hills breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier/Staffordshire Bull Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier/Staffordshire Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Forest Hills paves the way for another one to be saved.
