Sophie's Story...
Hi, I'm Sophie. I am about 2 years old. I used to have my own home but then they went away and left me at the pound. I didn't like it there at all. It was a scary place. Luckily, someone came and got me and brought me to NE Ohio Lab Rescue. I really like it there! I sleep on my own doggie bed and play with toys. I like to snuggle with my foster mom whenever possible. Do you like to snuggle?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sophie, a North Jackson Labrador Retriever/Chow Chow dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Chow Chow for sale in North Jackson, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Chow Chow dog from a breeder in North Jackson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Jackson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Jackson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Chow Chow breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Chow Chow rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Jackson paves the way for another one to be saved.
