My story

Meet Charlie!

Charlie is a 2 month old Hound Mix. (We don't know what breeds and didn't see his parents.) Currently he is 7 pounds but growing very day. Our best guess is he will grow to be a medium sized dog, 30-40 pounds.

Charlie is a typical happy puppy - he loves to play then nap, eat then nap, and so on. He needs someone who will be home during the day to care for him & teach him everything he needs to know to become a well-behaved dog. (It's like bringing home a human baby!)

** The Penny Foundation receives many adoption applications for puppies. We always look for the best possible match for the dog and put the dog's needs before the adopter's preferences. If you apply for a certain dog but we feel a different applicant's home is best suited for that dog this doesn't mean you wouldn't provide a loving forever home for a rescued dog. We are happy to work with you to find a great dog that will better suit you and your situation. Our volunteers can still perform your home check and if approved you will be considered pre-approved and the next dog that that matches your situation can be placed with you immediately. **

** Neuter surgery is mandatory before 6 months of age. It is included in the adoption donation and will be scheduled with our vet. **
