Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Chevy is a very handsome, sweet and friendly, two-year-old, 45-pound, male, chocolate and vanilla speckled Lab/Pointer/Terrier-mix looking for a loving guardian. Chevy gets along with other dogs, knows the command sit and down, and takes treats gently from your fingers. Chevy was rescued from being euthanized at a high kill shelter after he was found as a stray. He was found to have heartworm. He has gone through treatment and is now very healthy and waiting for a foster home, forever home or a rescue group to take him in.
Chevy is healthy, neutered, heartworm-treated, micro-chipped, and up-to-date on rabies and distemper vaccines. To meet and possibly adopt, foster, or rescue him, please contact Melia at melia88@comcast.net or 708-224-1900. His adoption fee of $200 benefits rescued pets. He is currently being kenneled in Steger, Illinois, and would love to get out of a kennel and into a home setting.
