Bear is a handsome, strong and energetic, five-year-old, 80-pound, male Bull Terrier/Shepherd-mix looking for a loving home. He was rescued from a high kill shelter after being found as a stray. Sadly, Bear tested positive for heartworm but has gone through treatment and is now very healthy. Bear sits on command and takes treats nicely from your fingers. He would do best in a home with adults and teenagers because of his size and strength.

Bear is now healthy, neutered, heartworm-treated, micro-chipped, and up-to-date on rabies and distemper vaccines. To meet and possibly adopt, foster, or bring him into your rescue, please contact Melia at melia88@comcast.net. His adoption fee of $200 benefits rescued pets.
