Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bert, a beautiful black labby mix boy, is about 1 1/2 years old and weighs in at about 60 lbs. He is a very sweet boy with lots of young boy energy. Bert was rescued from a shelter that sends their dogs to a research lab if not claimed or rescued. None deserve that life. Bert gets along great with his foster brothers and sisters and loves to run and play in the yard. His favorite game is chasing the tennis ball and getting to it before anyone else. He also loves tug-o-war. Bert loves attention from his people and definitely aims to please. This boy is a high energy guy and would do great as a running partner, hiking buddy and would love to swim after tennis balls. Bert would benefit greatly from training classes. He definitely would need someone who can take time with him and have a firm hand. He has a very loving personality and just needs some structure to his life. We are not sure about the kitties, but can certainly cat test if necessary. Bert is neutered, up to date on all vaccines including rabies, heartworm negative and micro-chipped. He is also on flea and tick preventative and heartworm preventative. Bert is also crate trained. If you are interested in learning more about this handsome, sweet and energetic boy, please indicate Bert in the notes section of the online application
