Sweetie's Story...
Sweetie is probably the most low maintenance dog we’ve known. She was one of 26 dogs who were living in horrid conditions, all stuck inside a small house 24/7. She, and the others were removed by authorities awaiting criminal charges. 3 came to us for rehabilitation and recovery. They were all bald, emaciated and sickly. Rosie was very shy at first, but even after her first 24 hours with us she began to trust, and every day since then, became more and more confident and loving. She is just precious. She is now healthy, happy and loving every minute of attention she gets and ready for adoption.
Sweetie is content playing with the other dogs all day, is completely house and crate trained, and is a pure pleasure. After living through her first few awful years, she is so deserving of a real family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sweetie, a Boca Raton Labrador Retriever/Flat-Coated Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Flat-Coated Retriever for sale in Boca Raton, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Flat-Coated Retriever dog from a breeder in Boca Raton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Boca Raton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Boca Raton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Flat-Coated Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Flat-Coated Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Boca Raton paves the way for another one to be saved.
