Buster's Info...

I am already neutered, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Buster's Story...
Buster was only 4 weeks old when he came to us. He was unable to walk and almost got the name of "Turtle" because he could not walk. His legs sprawled out sideways with his chest and belly flat on the ground. With a couple of weeks of therapy (placing his legs under him in the proper position) he finally could stand and support his weight. His legs are fine and he has turned out to be a very handsome, playful and loving kitty. Now his only need is a loving home! Well he was adopted but the stress was so bad that he quite eating so he is back at the sanctuary and happy as can be. It would be great to have someone sponsor him with a small donation each month. Just go to FATcathaven.org to set up a monthly donation or call your bank. It seems he will remain here at the sanctuary where he is happiest.

About For All Time Cat Haven (aka: F.A.T. Cat Haven)

About Our Shelter...

We rescue homeless, abused, abandoned cats. We also provide a home for those cats left to us by their persons for various reasons. We are a no kill shelter and will provide lifetime, loving care for any cat placed under our guardianship if it is not adopted. This shelter was started because there was a need for a place where cats could live out there lives in a natural, safe, loving environment. We accept cats in all stages of life, some with medical conditions, handicaps, the elderly and the orphans needing to be bottle fed. F.A.T. Cat Haven will provide anything necessary for a cat to have a loving, quality of life. Our greatest need is a grant writer to help raise funds to expand our facility and provide the needed funding for food and veterinary care so we can shelter and provide a home for more cats in need.

If we miss your call it will be returned within 24 hours. You can also send us an email to fatcat@fatcathaven.org or visit our website www.fatcathaven.org to meet some of the cats online and get a glimpse of the sanctuary. Many visitors say it should be called "Fat Cat Heaven" instead of Haven. Watch for fund-raising garage sales in the Triplicate Newspaper.
The cats need donations of money, food (canned & dry), treats, paper towels, used clean blankets, grooming brushes and combs, advantage flea treatment (any size), laundry detergent, sponges and of course loving volunteers.

Our Adoption Process...

Currently our adoption fee is $50. This is sometimes negotiable if adopting more than one cat or kitten. We request that all family members are present for the adoption. There will be a simple form to fill out so we have your information. We will interview you to make sure that we will be adopting to a responsible pet owner and to be sure that we will have a cat that will fit into your particular household. We do request that if for some reason later you are no longer able to keep or care for the adopted pet, that it be returned to our sanctuary.
