Birdie's Story...
Hello there. My name is Birdie. I was born on April 1, 2009. SWEET, SWEET, SWEET. Thats what people say about me who know me! I just love it that they think I am such a sweet girl. I must admit, though, that I am!! My life started out in the wild where I had to fend for myself and live on what I could find. I made it through my first winter when I was just a kid, and then I was rescued by Two Left Paws. Since then, I don't even go near an outside door! No thank you!!! So what, you may ask, is the favorite thing in my day? I love to follow my foster mom around and help her with all of her chores. Of course, I also talk to her and tell her all about my day. If she makes the mistake of sitting down, I am right there on her lap getting and giving some loving! There are terriers in another part of the house because we rescue them. So, Im used to noisy dogs, although Im not around them much. I do get to help bathe dogs, though. Its always better when they are getting a bath instead of me! If you are someone who wants to let me be the center of your life and to let me love you, then please consider adopting me. My life will be complete once I have a family of my own!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Birdie, a Sheboygan Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Sheboygan, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Sheboygan.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sheboygan already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sheboygan breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sheboygan paves the way for another one to be saved.
