Buster's Story...
Hi my name is Buster! I was found in a rural area begging for food and attention. The vet thinks I'm a lab/pit mix and was really impressed by my goofy and friendly personality! (Her little boy wanted to hug me all the time and I just loved it!) I am about a year old and weigh 50 lbs. I am fairly athletic, so I need a fenced yard with a 6 foot fence. I get along with other dogs (as long as they don't steal my food) and I don't pay much attention to cats. I love to go on walks so much that I do a tap dance with my front feet when I see a leash. I am playful and curious and like to investigate everything. If you need a walking or hiking buddy, I'm ready to go! I am currently in obedience classes and doing very well and the instructor is very impressed with how friendly and intelligent I am. Interested in meeting me? Please contact andreaofaz@yahoo.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buster, a Phoenix Labrador Retriever/American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
