Hazel in Houston's Story...
Miss Hazel is a tri color JRT who was found running through a Katy WalMart parking lot. She is now safe with her foster mom and looking for a new home.

Hi! My name is Hazel and I LOVE to cuddle! I'll be your couch potato buddy anytime. I'll even curl up with you in bed if you let me. When I'm not busy loving on my foster mom, I love to play with other dogs, even a great big one who is my house mate. We play chase and wrestle and sometimes I win! I get along great with dogs of all size. My foster mom is teaching me how to "sit" and "lay down" and anything else I can pick up. I'm pretty smart! I'd love for you to take me to my forever home!

Hazel is 2 years old and 17 pounds.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hazel in Houston, a Houston Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Houston, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
