Wyatt's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Wyatt's Story...
Wyatt is about 2 years old. A very happy and outgoing boy, he gets along with all the other foster dogs and seems to love everyone he meets. Recently he was taken to a Dachshund Meet-up where he met about 30 other Dachshunds and he just walked in and began playing with any that wanted to play. He is very loving and full of a zest for life. He is using a doggy door faithfully to go out of his kennel area to do his business. He was neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped on April 12th and is ready to find his new home. He is a very handsome dog with a rich almost mahogany red, smooth coat.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wyatt, a Tucson Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Tucson, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Tucson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tucson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tucson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tucson paves the way for another one to be saved.
