Smokey - courtesy post's Story...
Smokey was a stray roaming a neighbor in Clermont County. It took a month before anyone could make bodily contact with Smokey. He started to bond with his male rescuer, but the male rescuer was diagnosed with brain cancer and the family didn't want to deal with Smokey. The neighbors didn't want to see Smokey go to the shelter so they have been shuffling him between homes, but he needs a permanent loving home. Smokey is apprx 9 to 11 mths old. He has been fully vetted, neutered, and microchipped. Smokey is reserved at first, but warms up to kindness and TLC. While at the vet, he was Top Dog. Smokey loves children. Please consider giving Smokey a loving home that he deserves.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Smokey - courtesy post, a Cincinnati Australian Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Cincinnati, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Cincinnati.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cincinnati already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cincinnati breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cincinnati paves the way for another one to be saved.
