My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chanel is a gorgeous 1,5 year old poodle who was surrender due to lack of time. When she came to Kiko she was very scared of everything and everyone. After a few days in her foster home she felt confident enough to explore and from then on quickly recovered her old (very) playful ways. She is pee pad trained and will gladly go outside to do her business if the weather permits. Chanel is very sweet and very intelligent, and she so much wants to do well! She plays fetch, knows her basic commands (in French), is very cuddly and soft, and well mannered. She is also well socialized. She can stay by your side or on your laps for hours but will play happily with a tennis ball, even by herself. In the house she will drop the ball from the top stair and run downstairs to catch it, a game she can play for a long time. Chanel would be happiest in a family where she would not be left home by herself. She suffers from separation anxiety, she just hates being left to her own device. She loves going out for walks on a leash or for a car ride, and is just too pretty when she realizes you are getting ready to take her out.
Chanel is very good with kids, cats and dogs. She is also very quiet and will not bark unless there is a real reason for it. She is used to being groomed and bathed, and is not scared of the dryer. Chanel loves playing in the garden. She is not aggressive in any way and will prove to be a very loyal and loving companion if given the chance. She is young, learns very quickly and is very agile; she would thrive with an owner who would take the time to teach her tricks and spend a lot of time with her. If you are looking for a Partner in Life that is playful yet quiet, well trained, clean in the house, not aggressive and well socialized, Chanel is the name!
