My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Marvelous Momma Missy is the name, or Missy for short. Please send all adoption inquiries to missywantstogettheheckouttahere@dogmail.com. Actually, don’t do that. I had to quit emailing because it’s so darn hard to type with furry paws. Maybe I’ll invent the doggie computer keyboard once I get outta here! I'm just about smart enough to do it. Have you heard my story yet? Or been following my Mittens on the Family Dog’s Dog Blog? See, I’ve been here for a while. I was found preggers and gave birth to 5 beautiful pups. They were raised here at the shelter with me. Now that I am all done taking care of them I am oh so ready ready for a home of my own. And don’t worry, I’ve been all fixed up, no more surprise pregnancies for this gal! I’m a very affectionate young lady, fun, active and smart as a whip too. I haven’t had a ton of training yet, but I’m ready. I’m the submissive type, so I can be a bit of shy of strange males. I love all the guys here at the shelter, and I’ve warmed up to other men too, it just takes me a bit…I think that all I’ll need is for you to continue my socialization. I’m fantastic with other dogs, and I can even be around cats…I do like to occasionally chase them for fun though! Let’s say kids 6 and up…I really don’t enjoy the energy of little ones…besides, I just got through raising 5 of my own…It’s my turn to be in the limelight! 1 ½ years old-35lbs. My adoption fee is $200 and includes; microchip, spay, reduced cost Training Class, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & Treat packet.
