Ellie's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Ellie's Story...
Meet Ellie! Ellie is a sweet, affectionate 3 year old female GSD. She was rescued from a shelter when her time ran out, and is now on to bigger and better things!

Ellie is currently pretty thin, and has obviously been used for breeding purposes. But all that is behind her now. Everyone who meets her loves her, and the feeling is mutual. She's very affectionate, and wants to be right with you ALL the time.

Ellie is great with other dogs, and is starting to learn about the joys of playing with them. She is interested in cats, but not aggressive towards them, so if handled properly would probably co-exist with them just fine. She also loves children.

Ellis is utd on routine vaccinations, flea/tick prevention and heartworm prevention. She has been spayed and microchipped.

Please Click Here to fill out an application. This is the first step in our adoption process. No adoption will be considered or discussed until this has been completed and received.

Ellie must go to a home where she will live inside as an important member of the family. We do not adopt to anyone under the age of 21. Our adoption fee is $395, which includes the ground transport fee ($100) for dogs who will travel to their new home and the health certificate fee ($45) that is required by the USDA for all animals crossing state lines.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ellie, a Brattleboro German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Brattleboro, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Brattleboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brattleboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brattleboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brattleboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
