Chopper's Story...
Chopper is a little energetic 3 year old Jack Russell. He's not a dog for a couch potato. He needs a home where he can go for nice long walks and run around. He needs some work on obedience training but nothing that a person willing to work with him can't do. He will come with 2 free obedience lessons. Chopper cannot be with small children he tends to get mouthy with kids who constantly try to pick him up or pest him. He's never bitten but he doesn't like kids poking at him. He's more of a big active dog stuck in a small dogs body. He gets along great with other dogs and cats. Breed experience will be a plus. Please do not apply if you live in an apartment he may be small but he is not an apartment dog.

Act quickly to adopt Chopper. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chopper, a West Warwick Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in West Warwick, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in West Warwick.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Warwick already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Warwick breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in West Warwick paves the way for another one to be saved.
