Chloe's Story...
Chloe is a darling 3 year old Chihuahua who is chocolate brown and creme color with big brown eyes. Like most small breeds, Chloe is a little scared of kids so she would probably do best in a home with no small children. In fact, she would probably prefer a home where there is someone who stays at home all the time so she can fulfill her lifetime ambition of being a lap dog. As is common with small breeds, Chloe does not like big dogs but gets along with smaller dogs. Chloe is leash trained and likes to go on walks but HATES to be crated!!!! She bonds quickly with her person and then does not let them out of her sight. Chloe is a super sweet girl who enjoys car rides.

As HAHS has several adoption locations, please contact Janice at to find out when and where you can meet CHLOE!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chloe, a Overland Park Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
