Elias's Story...
Eli was brought to the shelter by his owner who said she just didn't have any time for him. He's only 6 months old & probably has never gotten the attention & love that all babies require in order to thrive. He's an affable little guy with a lot of play energy. He loves to run around the yard with a ball or a toy in his mouth & he plays well with the resident dogs. He was cautious when first entering his foster home, perhaps he was not used to being inside a home. He can act shy & uncertain when confronted with new things, (for instance going up steps). He's quick to learn though & then the shyness disappears & he becomes his playful, puppy self again. Elias is housetrained, neutered, micro-chipped & vetted.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Elias, a Linden Schnauzer (Miniature)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Miniature)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Linden, or seeking a Schnauzer (Miniature)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy from a breeder in Linden.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Linden already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Linden breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Miniature)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Schnauzer (Miniature)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Linden paves the way for another one to be saved.
