Shadow - female, vet checked, vaccinated to date inclu. Rabies, altered, dewormed, tx flea preventative, heartworm tested (-), ~4-5yr, 98lbs, Rottweiler.
Shadow was turned in to the shelter when her owner moved. Being a mature, large, black dog she had little to no chance of being adopted from a high volume, high kill pound. Shadow quickly became a shelter favorite and is now safely in rescue with 4 Legged Love.
Shadow is a great girl, she is friendly, loyal and social. She is a little pudgy and it would be great to see her lose a few pounds. She gets along with other dogs, seems to be fine with felines and is fine with respectful children. She is nicely mannered and knows some basic commands, once bonded with her new family she would likely be fine at off leash parks. Shadow likes to play with other dogs and can be quite bouncy and vocal when playing, she tends to growl and run around in a playful manner which may scare some people – the dogs know she is playing and are quick to engage in play with her. Shadow is a big girl who loves big hugs. We feel she’d be happiest in a house with a fenced yard. She likes to be with her people and just hang around outside with people while you are doing spring chores. Shadow is also good in the car, crate trained and house trained. House with fence yard preferred.
