Teddy is about 12 years old. He plays like he is 2. He weighs 10 pounds. He is up to date on all his medical and is micro chipped.
Teddy is 8 years old, but has the stamina and energy of a two-year-old. He's up-to-date on dental and medical. He weighs about 12 lbs. He is enthusiastic about life and especially enjoys riding in the car; going for walks; playing with his golf ball and his foster brother Cosme. Teddy also enjoys being outdoors and curling up for long naps. He likes to give kisses and get tummy rubs. Teddy happily entertains himself, but he would do best in a home where he is not left alone for long periods of time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Teddy, a Virginia Beach Pekingese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pekingese for sale in Virginia Beach, or seeking a Pekingese dog from a breeder in Virginia Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Virginia Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Virginia Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pekingese breeders who help with Pekingese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Virginia Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
