I’m a super-sweet Maltese/Sheep Dog mix type dog. I’m approximately 4-5 years old based upon the condition of my teeth. I wandered up to a really nice woman’s home and she took me in. She’s been unable to find my owner, which is probably a good thing... because I’m in terrible shape. I’m covered in mats and fleas. My teeth are broken as if I was in something or attached to something and was trying to get free. I appear to have had many litters in my lifetime and I have a tumor or some type of cyst on one of my teats that will need surgery, which can be taken care of when I’m spayed. It’s possible that it is a metastasized teat. I’m about 25 pounds, so I’m not too little and I’m not too big. My rescuer has determined that I’m housetrained, get along great with other dogs and cats. I travel well in a car and walk well on a leash. I’m not destructive and I don’t dig. My rescuer brought me to Pet Savers where I was given a topical for my fleas and a 7in1 vaccination. Pet Savers is really full right now, but said that they would put me on the internet for adoption. They said they would take me in as soon as a kennel opens up. While in foster, my adoption fee is $50 which will get you a voucher to go towards my spaying. When I come to Pet Savers, my adoption fee will increase to $125.00 to cover spaying, rabies, and heartworm testing. Pet Savers wants to make sure I go to a home where I will finally be taken care of properly.
