Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi! My name is Barry. I am a 3 year old male long haired, rough coat Saint Bernard. I am all Saint too! I am playful, and protective. I slobber, but boy am I a lover. My nick name at my foster home is "close talker." I like to be around people. I enjoy playing with kids too. I do well around kids of all ages. I don't get on the furniture much. I prefer my spot on the floor in the hallway. I am good on a leash, and I get along well with other dogs. (Although I don't introduce well every time) I don't bark unless I think you need to know about something. I won't bother you too much when you are cooking, but I have been known to steal an unsupervised sandwich or two. I am house broken. I like to go for walks and I like to ride in the car. I am not really sure about cats because I have not been around them. I will chase rabbits and squirrels to see if they want to play with me, but I have never found out since I can't catch one. I mind well most of the time but I can be stubborn sometimes too. I don't need much exercise to keep me happy, but I do need some everyday. I play fetch, although I am not as agile as some other dogs. I am big enough to get over a 3' fence but I have no idea how to do it. I am not a big kisser, but once in a while I may give you a little lick on the side of the face. I love to be brushed and I really like belly rubs! I would prefer not to have to get a bath but I will tolerate it without incident. I am afraid of the garden hose, and I don't really like the water either. If you think we might get along please contact the rescue! I am in search of my perfect forever home, is it yours?
