Daffy's Story...
Coconut’s puppies: – Coconut is a beautiful blond lab and she has the sweetest little puppies ever. Coconut was pregnant when Lucky Lab Rescue took her from a high kill shelter. See Coconut’s story in the post below. There are 6 beautiful blond lab mix puppies who are thriving and healthy and enjoying being puppies. At the time of these pictures they are 7 weeks old and will be ready for adoption mid-May. These sweet babies don’t have a care in the world right not, except when is it time to eat, is it time for a nap now, ouch, someone is pulling on my ear, can we play now – just typical little puppy things. We are not sure who the dad is, but the mommy is a very beautiful sweet natured girl, and if these babies are anything like their mom they will be awesome. They have the sweetest little faces and love to be picked up and hugged and cuddled and talked to.
Coconut’s puppies are up to date on vaccinations for their age and micro-chipped. They are all great little puppies looking for a loving, caring family to call their own. If you think your family can give any one of these gorgeous babies the love and nurturing that they need and deserve, indicate them in the notes section of the online application. They will bring you years of love and devotion.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daffy, a Salem Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Salem, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
