Katy's Info...
| Breed: | Domestic Shorthair | Color: | Brown Tabby | Age: | Adult |
| Sex: | Female | ID#: | 6223GS | Hair: | Short |
Katy was originally rescued as a kitten by a woman in Sellersville who contacted Stray Cat Blues to help her when she found a litter of kittens. Katy was adopted when she was about 2 months old. Katy was doing great until her family had a baby and she was a bit resentful that she longer got all the attention she wanted. Sadly her family returned her and you can imagine that she is still a little shell-shocked by everything that's happened to her.
Katy is a beautiful brown and gray tabby with some white on her face and legs. Her estimated date of birth is March 30, 2007. It's hard to describe her, but she is a nice combination of sweet and shy. She loves attention but until she gets to know you, sometimes seems to stand back and is afraid to ask for it. She does like to be with people and is unhappy when she is shut in the foster room. She is very petite (she weighed in at 6 pounds on her recent vet visit) and is used to eating dry food only.
Katy-Kay would probably do best in a home without small children and we think that dogs and other cats may stress her out so she is looking for a somewhat quiet home.

Rescue Group Info...
Officially, Stray Cat Blues, Inc. is a no-kill, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization providing rescue and placement to stray, abandoned, and feral cats. Personally, SCB is a small group of dedicated volunteers who work tirelessly to find loving, life-long homes for cats. We are professional in our practices, but we are emotional on the subject of homeless cats, and the ways in which we humans can work to prevent this epidemic of strays.
Stray Cat Blues actively works to find permanent homes for the stray cats in our program. Our kittens and cats are exposed to the pet-loving public at our different adoption locations (see Come Meet our Pets section below) to facilitate adoptions and to provide visibility for our organization. Our cats can also be seen online at www.adoptapet.com.
Most of our cats offered for adoption are strays and their offspring that are rescued off the streets.
For those stray cats that are more wary of humans, especially feral cats, we can help humanely trap, sterilize and either return them if the area they live in is safe and they are being fed, or we house them and adopt them out as barn cats.
Thanks from the cats
and all of us at Stray Cat Blues!
