My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Otis was saved by the Tri-County Humane Society in St. Cloud. He came to their shelter a little over a month ago severely emaciated and in poor health. He lived with one of their fosters and gained some weight and got lots of TLC. Due to Otis needing some special attention and wanting to make sure that he got a great home he was moved into our rescue about a week ago! Otis is a very sweet and affectionate boy, whom we guess his age to be about 6 years. He gets along great with the other pug in the foster home! Otis loves to lay on anything soft - a bed, a dog bed, a lap...as long it is soft and cuddly he's there! Otis knows how to sit, stay, shake, lay down and speak!

Otis's foster parents are working with Otis on food aggression. He takes treats very nicely, but when it comes to meal time he doesn't like anyone (animal or person) around his bowl. He has done some marking in the house, but now that Otis is neutered and in a loving foster home we are hoping this habit will decrease or cease all together!

Otis has a bald area on his tail, which will likely remain like that. The vet believes this may have been caused by being so emaciated for so long and that the hair will not grow back.

Overall, Otis is a wonderful, loving boy who is looking for a wonderful furever home! Could you be that home?
