My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Melvin and his 4 siblings were born on 3/22/11, when their mother Poppie was already at the shelter. They will all be ready for release around the first week of June. The kittens are doing well, growing big and strong, under the care of their attentive mama kitty; they will all be together until it's time for the kittens to go to their new homes. Our volunteers are socializing the kittens, and these kittens will be fantastic family pets. They will do best in indoor-only homes, as they have never been outside.

We are taking applications for the kittens now, and will preadopt to approved applicants.

Melvin will arrive neutered, wormed, microchipped and with all age-appropriate vaccinations. Adoption fee for Melvin is suggested minimum $58 (more gratefully accepted); discount for pair kitten adoptions!. All kittens are placed with a 3-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts. Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you!
