Good question isn't it? The answer is priceless. That’s because I'm that doggie in the window. I'm Scotty, one of the Star Trek dogs. You know “Beam me up Scotty” I’m a 3 year old beagle, a quiet guy & like to spend lots of time in laps. My foster family said that I'm just about the perfect beagle.

I'm house trained, I don't chew things I shouldn't, I don't bark much, I get along with other dogs most of the time and I like cats. Believe it or not I'm not food driven either. All in all I'm almost the perfect dog. I must tell you that sometimes I don't get along with the male dogs here. They just seem to be staring at me & I don't like that. However I do like the girls! I have a special girlfriend who is also a foster. Her name is Autumn. We play together a lot & I sometimes lay next to her & nap. I’m going to miss her when I get adopted. Hey maybe someone will adopt both of us! Anyway I look forward to meeting you and I know you will be very happy with me.

Foster note: Scotty really is almost the perfect dog. When he is in his crate and another dog walks by he growls at them. Outside of the crate he does well most of the time. We have had some arguments with him & the other male dogs. He likes all the female dogs and especially likes Autumn, another foster.

We think he would be best in a home with a female dog or as the only dog.
