Brownie's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Brownie's Story...
Brownie is a 9 year old neutered male chocolate / tan smooth dachshund. He was turned in by his owner that could no longer take care of him. He is a sweet little guy that loves attention and to follow you around where ever you go. Brownie is in good health other than being a little over weight. He is currently on a healthy diet to lose some weight. He is a little shy at first, but loves to sit in your lap all day if you will let him. Brownie is current on all his shots, neutered and house broken. He would make someone a great forever companion. If you are interested in Brownie, or would like more information, email us at k9scome1st@aol.com. His adoption fee is negotiable due to his age.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brownie, a Ft. Myers Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Ft. Myers, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Ft. Myers.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ft. Myers already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ft. Myers breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ft. Myers paves the way for another one to be saved.
