Jennie's Story...
Jennie is a 2/3 year old shepherd mix that came from a hoarding situation in Vass NC. When she was first taken out of the situation, she had no life in her eyes and had a forlorn look on her face. She was very skinny and had a bad coat from poor nutrition. She is in foster care and has blossomed into a wonderful dog! Jennie loves to lean on you and will give you hugs and kisses. She gets excited to meet new people, adults and kids, and still needs lots of love and food to turn her into an excellent family pet. She gets along with other dogs and will be tested with cats. After starting life in a horrible situation, Jennie is looking forward to meeting the right person to make her life happy and complete. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jennie, a Pinehurst Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Pinehurst, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Pinehurst.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pinehurst already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pinehurst breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pinehurst paves the way for another one to be saved.
