Tas's Story...
Image hosting by Photobucket

(ID #550) Hi, my name is Tas.

I was found abandoned, left tied to a tree. I was brought to the shelter in hopes a family would love me and give me a home. I miss being with a family.

I am a young fellow at heart, a little over one year old and I weigh around 60 pounds. Do you have room in your heart and home for me? I am way past that messy chewy puppy stage.

I have already been neutered, given my basic shots, microchipped, and am heartworm negative.

I am being sponsored by Sheltered Paws Dog Rescue. They are providing me with a getting started goodie bag. This bag contains a collar, leash, ID tag, toy, a FREE behavior consultation, a FREE training DVD, and other doggie related items.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tas, a Cincinnati Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Cincinnati, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Cincinnati.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cincinnati already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cincinnati breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cincinnati paves the way for another one to be saved.
