Here's what the humans have to say about me:
What a love! Eddie is a young male Maltese (about three years old) now in New England foster who was dropped at a high kill in Louisiana and obviously has known a horrid life. His coat was matted and stained, and he clearly has been swatted around....if you touch him unexpectedly, he darts or yelps as if about to be hit. Despite this, Eddie is the most pert and playful king of good will....he has a very spaniel-like personality and is full of charm. He is GREAT with other dogs, likes kids....always wants to play. This is a very vivacious dog on the high energy side. He doesn't mind the lap and surely appreciates snuggles, but his truest love is being lively and playful. His personality fills a room, and it really is quite touching that for all that he has been through, he still has such a positive spirit :) His housebreaking may need some refinement (qualifies as "pretty good" right now....he is prompt to go outside), he is a barker if confined to the crate, lacks training and craves stability, but in a loving home he will flourish! Eddie is neutered, UTD, HW negative and microchipped.
