Adoption Event - Meet adoptable dogs and puppies!
Saturday, May 14th - 10am-4pm
PETSMART, 10210 59th Ave SW, Lakewood, WA

Lucky is about 18 mos old and a very happy, sweet boy. He loves everyone, loves to play with other dogs. He is really good with kids and very friendly to new people. He weighs about 60 lbs. and is full grown. Lucky was recently rescued from a shelter in eastern WA. The poor boy was there for quite a while just because he was black and there are just so many big black dogs that they are overlooked regardless of how awesome their personality is. Lucky is now in a wonderful loving foster home, but he needs to find his forever home soon. Won’t you give this lovely black dog a loving home? His adoption fee is $250 and includes his neuter, shots, worming and microchip.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucky, a Seattle Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Seattle, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Seattle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Seattle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Seattle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Seattle paves the way for another one to be saved.
