Here's what the humans have to say about me:
One year old Brie came to us from an overcrowded Central CA shelter. She is a lovely, very gentle dog with wonderful large paws. Someone is going to be very lucky to adopt this sweetheart.
Brie is clearly a nice young dog that hasn't been well socialized. When she first arrived, she was afraid to come in the house. However,it didn't take her long to discover the joys of sleeping inside and going in and out the doggie door.
Brie has now also discovered the delights of toys and chewies. She also has learned how fun it is to romp and play with the other dogs in her foster home. She walks nicely on a leash and crates quietly at night.
Brie's ideal home would continue to get her out and about and introduce her to new people and places. She would love to have a canine brother to help show her the ropes. We believe she would be fine with gentle children age 5 and up. (No toddlers as sudden moves and loud noises make her hide. This reaction will lessen in time but we don't want Brie to be overly stressed in a new home).
Brie is vaccinated, microchipped and spayed. If you are interested in Brie, please fill out the online adoption application at www.scdr.org
